If mercy is new every day; and you are what you are by the grace of God; and if grace and peace are MULTIPLIED to you; then - the potentially very least that you are able to increase each day is twice what you were the day before. This is very exciting to consider in that we are taught by the bible to daily put off the old man and put on a new man and that new man is surely at least twice or more what the old man was. This of course is by the measurement of God rather than humans. Worth is determined by him alone and that is why on the judgment day he alone sits on that throne. It is vital that you are always moving forward and never drawing back. God says that he has no pleasure in those who draw back. God is the great “I AM” of the present moment. He lives in whatever is happening now – no matter how difficult it may appear to be. To romantically embrace what is happening now is to say that God is in control regardless of how it appears otherwise. To make such an affirmation is to give God room to work miracles in the current context which you just formatted with your truth. Drawing back from where you are is to regress from relationship with God to religion. This is a serious affront to the one who calls himself “a present help in the time of trouble”. If someone else's past matters so does yours. If your past matters so does everyone else's. God remits your sin by making you a new creature in Christ. This new creature status is what you want to affirm so that you continually have the power of newness. Satan is called the accuser of the brethren. He accuses them to connect you to their past which of course connects you to yours which is exactly what salvation separated you from. Accusations have to do with affirmation of the past. This you don’t want. Therefore it is vital that you forgive anyone who has done you wrong since you affirm that the man they did things to is not the man you are now.
